Dana Stemmler Assistant Winemaker Assistant winemaker Dana Stemmler’s interest in winemaking was first piqued on a trip to Italy with her aunt in 2000. From that point, she knew working with both science and art through enology was something she would enjoy. She enrolled in UC Davis, up the road from her hometown of Fairfield, studying Viticulture and Enology. While there, Dana interned at Mumm Napa for two harvests, where she gained valuable experience in both production quality control and grape quality in the vineyard. After graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree, Dana joined the Bogle team as lab technician, but quickly took over the lab as enologist. In 2009, Dana was promoted to Assistant Winemaker and today continues to champion quality in all the wines Bogle produces. |
